Cannabis / Marijuana is a psychoactive drug for both recreational entheogenic (hallucinogen/psychedelic, "mind-manifesting" )purposes and in various traditional medicines for centuries.

A few of its side effects would include dizziness, fatigue, dry mouth, lightheadedness, drowsiness, and nausea.

It has become increasingly available in the United States, It is used to treat chronic pain, muscle spasms, nausea, and vomiting and to increase appetite. It has been known to affect thinking and memory, increase the risk of accidents, may be harmful to the lungs, and can lead to cancer.

THC in cannabis causes psychoactive effects.

Some of the Street Names for Marijuana: Weed, Pot, Reefer, Grass, Dope, Ganja, Mary Jane, Hash, Herb, Aunt Mary, Skunk, Boom, Chronic, Cheeb, Blunt, Ashes, Athitshi, Baby Bhang, Bammy, Blanket, Bo-Bo, Bobo Bus, Bomber, Boom, Broccoli, Cripple, Roach, Joy .

Cannabidiol CBD, is an active ingredient in cannabis that is derived from the hemp plant, but it does not cause a high and is not addictive. Since CBD is an approved prescription drug, it can't be legally included in foods or dietary supplements. CBD can only be included in "cosmetic" products. But there are still CBD products on the market that are labeled as dietary supplements. In 2018, the U.S. Congress passed and signed into law the Agriculture Improvement Act. This law removed hemp from the federal Controlled Substances Act, effectively legalizing CBD if it comes from hemp.


Marijuana is a mind-altering psychoactive drug. It has pros and cons and offers many side effects some very harmful.
