DEMCO PROGRAMS

 

DEMCO is known for its creative and innovative array of programs such as Cultural Health Ambassadors’ Project (Chap) and Books and Basketball using Atlas and Athena Evidenced Program and Robotics which draws students from New Castle, Sussex, and Kent Counties.  Young Entrepreneurship and Young Authors Classes are being offered at CMS.  DEMCO also uses an Incentive Program to foster Financial Literacy.  All classes have 3 components; Reading, Prevention ( Focus: Bullying, Suicide, Alcoholism, Opioids, and Substance Abuse), and an Elective, some of which have been aforementioned. 

The Capital School District has allowed us to have classes in their Afterschool Program and the students are taken home on the Afterschool Bus.  DEMCO Robotics Team consists of Students from Caesar Rodney School District and they meet at our DEMCO Facility.   The Odyssey of the Mind Gifted and Talented Students from Central Middle School also meet at the DEMCO Facility.  DEMCO is also working with Towne Point Elementary with a Mentorship and Prevention Program with the Counselor. 

We are also working with CMS with the Mentoring Prevention Program. In the Seaford School District, DEMCO has a Gentleman’s Club in the High School and Middle School, it is run like the Atlas Books and Basketball in Capital School District.  In the Summer, we service the Capital School District Students with Free Summer Camps; Basketball, Robotics, Soccer, etc. DEMCO is known for its creative and innovative array of programs such as Cultural Health Ambassadors’ Project (Chap) and Books and Basketball using Atlas and Athena Evidenced Program and Robotics which draws students from New Castle, Sussex, and Kent Counties.
